Keller TX is on U.S. Highway 377, fifteen miles north of Fort Worth in northeast Tarrant County. The nearly 40,000 residents of the town work outside of Keller, but many businesses, including commercial and industrial, are locating in the area, creating more jobs. Besides the seven parks in the city, there is an aquatic and recreation center that features indoor and outdoor pools, fitness facilities, and meeting rooms.
Things to Do in Keller
Old Town Keller is the place to go for charming specialty shops right off of Main Street. Other places to find shopping is the Keller Town Center which even includes restaurants as well as luxury residential living options. To get out of the house early on a Saturday morning you’re going to need a tee time at the Sky Creek Ranch Golf Club. If you’re up to the challenge come play along the shores of Big Bear Creek. And each June the residents of Keller can be found at Kellerfest. This festival has fireworks, concerts, rides and a petting zoo. This city is full of pride and family fun.
Schools in Keller
Keller Texas is served by Keller Independent School District. The district has 19 elementary schools, five intermediate schools, five middle schools, three high schools, and a learning center. The ISD is rated as academically acceptable by the TEA. Keller ISD also has a Natatorium that provides classes ranging from swim lessons and safety instruction to water aerobics and springboard diving.
