Aledo Schools
Aledo Texas is served by Aledo Independent School district. The district has three elementary schools, one intermediate school, one middle school and one high school. For 2007, Stuard Elementary, Vandagriff Elementary and McAnally Intermediate all received exemplary rating from the TEA. Coder Elementary was awarded recognized marks, while the rest of the campuses were academically acceptable. Aledo High School is proud to extend nearly 30 AP classes to their students, to allow them to better prepare for college classes and earn university credit while still in a high school environment. For higher education, students can take classes at nearby Weatherford Junior College or drive a little further to choose from larger universities.
