Lake Travis Schools

The children of Lake Travis attend classes in some of the best schools in the state. Lake Travis is the center of the highly-regarded Lake Travis Independent School District. State-wide recognition is a mainstay of this school district and it offers a low 16 to1 student to faculty ratio, honors courses, computer classes, strong extracurricular activities, and very high college admission rates. If your child's education is of the highest priority, then Lake Travis is the place to be. Once they've grown up (probably quicker than you will have hoped), world-class higher education awaits just miles away. The University of Texas, a nationally recognized state college is home to over 50 thousand undergrad and graduate students that enjoy the sun and fun of the Texas Hill Country. But it can't be all fun and games all the time, unfortunately. That's why the Longhorns of UT enjoy state-of-the-art school and sports facilities, over 300 highly ranked major programs, award-winning teachers, and very high employment and salary rates after college. If big colleges aren't your thing Austin is also home to many reputable smaller private and vocational colleges like St. Edwards University, Texas Culinary Academy, and Concordia University. Austin and Lake Travis are at the top when it comes to academic resources, so you can feel confident about your children's future.
